• Development direction and key projects

This program integrates schools, departments, and off-campus resources for the needs of students, industry, and community, based on health sciences and information technology, to formulate teaching and curriculum development characteristics and establish three major directions for development:
(1)Exercise medicine. (2) Senior health management. (3)Innovative technology industry. Described as follows:

1. Exercise Medicine Group:

(1)Goal: To cultivate professionals with Exercise medicine, special populations, fitness guidance and so on as the main axis.

(2) Practical Internships: Students will participate in extracurricular practical learning. The internship location includes the relevant institutions inside and outside the school, so that students could improve their professional ability from the actual workplace environment and learn how to deal with people.

2. Senior health management:

(1)Goal: To cultivate sports creative activity planning, health clubs and senior care and case management service personnel, and thus develop professional talents in sports and leisure career and management.

(2) Practical Internships: In addition to the school's physical fitness center and aerobics classroom, the student internship locations are combined with the industry of domestic and foreign professional leisure and care institutions to develop students' planning ability for outdoor leisure activities for the elderly.

3. Innovative technology industry:

(1) Goal: To cultivate innovative development talents with information technology, medical and sports medicine.

(2) Professional competence development: Cooperate with the College of Engineering, such as the Department of Computer Science, the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Cloud Innovation School information courses on AI artificial intelligence, Big Data and the other field of information courses. Assist students to create technology products with sports technology background and in line with the needs of seniors, and also cultivates students’ product development strength in innovation and entrepreneurship in the future.

This program’s teachers are from the College of Agriculture, the College of Science, the College of Social Sciences, and the College of Management and cooperate with the Cloud Innovation School and the College of senior learning to cultivate professional of innovation and R & D of sports medicine and health management.
